Jorge L. Verar has more than 20 years in public accounting. He began his career at Ernst & Young, served as an audit manager at KPMG, and then founded JV CPA INC., where as managing partner he led audit and SEC reporting engagements for small public companies and accounting and tax work for physicians and closely held businesses. Clients came to know him as the "handyman" of accounting: the person called in when the books, the payroll or the reporting process had stopped working.
